The original concept was to do something with the media frenzy surrounding Michael Jackson's death five years ago -- several popular web sites crashed and Google -- thinking it was under a denial of service attack -- even restricted searches for Michael Jackson. As I read up on the story, however, I was amazed at how Jackson went from being broke at the time of his death to one of the world's richest dead celebrities today. I pulled up Forbes' most recent figures on top-earning dead celebrities, picked out a really cool shot in which I could crop in tight and left myself five grafs to try to recount Jackson's death.
