We were searching for ways to bring our outlying regions -- Long Beach and Riverside -- into the Focus page more often. My suggestion was to shoot the gorgeous old airplane museum at March Field. My daughter and I had loved it. The Press-Enterprise's Stan Lim shot and I designed. This turned out to be the last SoCal Slices photo page I'd design.
