There was no way I'd let the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall pass without observing it on the Focus page. I presented the obligatory timeline of the events of the late 1980s that led to the fall. I had planned to use one of the famous pictures of Berliners dancing atop the wall, but I found this picture in the AP archives. A section of the wall falls, revealing four communist soldiers who clearly have mixed feelings about the whole thing. What expressions! Another cool thing was the sidebar across the bottom, showing nine places in Southern California where you can go to see pieces of the old Berlin Wall.
