Focus: Around the moon

I built a number of pages for the holiday season back in September. This was the first of them: The 45th anniversary of the Christmas Eve that Apollo 8 spent orbiting the moon. I recapped the flight and the strategy behind it, the famous "Earthrise" photo and the TV broadcast that night. I was only five years old, but I remember it fondly. I think that shows in the page. Tuesday, Dec. 24.
