I'm glad we had fun with the page, but there was some good info here, too. The stories I saw about the CIA admitting Area 51 exists didn't really go far enough into the background and real history of the place -- instead, most addressed the fictional lore. The simple fact is that for most of its lifetime, Area 51 simply wasn't all that secret. Hell, when it was first built, the Atomic Energy Commission put out a press release. All of this material was already out there and readily available. The hard part is separating fact from speculation and then organizing it into something a) readable, and b) concise enough to fit my focus page. Oh, and just about everyone loved the redacted parts.
